Needs: A Person Monitoring Their Health Status
The Jobs-to-be-Done Lens that vendors to the healthcare industry should consider
I’ve heard a lot of talk about refocusing healthcare, as I’m sure you have. In fact, I wrote an entire blog post about it a few years back. 👇
“The rumblings in healthcare innovation have recently been about providing better outcomes for patients; such as ensuring they get sick less rather than fixing sick people.” ~Me
Because healthcare is such a significant part of each of our lives, it’s also one of those industries that doesn’t seem to be affected by swings in our economy. There are a lot of different ways we could view the Jobs-to-be-Done, in fact I have a list of about 20, but I recently decided to build a qualitative research catalog of customer needs for people Monitoring Health Status.
I have not prioritized this model, that’s for you to do. If you’re in the industry and interested in potentially funding some research, I’m happy to help you do so quicky, accurately, and less expensively than the incumbents (I use that term for a reason). There is no need to learn a method, or buy tools.
Ultimately, we all just want answers as quicky and inexpensively as possible.
