I must amend this, which I will do in a future blog post. There are actually 15 universal consumption journeys. We fail to recognize that immature organic markets for customers to cobble together solutions to get jobs done. This cobbling together requires an "integration" job, where the objective is to make all of these solutions work together to get the core functional job done.

I don't know how this could have been missed all these years, but coming from a technology background, and having designed and built integration schemes for many years, I'm also surprised that I just realized this.
